My Regional swaps

I attended the Stampin' Up! Regional training event in Cairns last weekend.  What a lovely day that was, I met some sensational fellow demonstrators and we spent the day sharing ideas.  Whenever a group of SU demonstrators get together they do what is called Swaps.  This is making somewhere between 40 and 300 card fronts (depends on the event for the amount of swaps you make)  Anyway, we all group around and swap with eachother so we come away with 40 - 300 different ideas, cards made by other talented crafters which inspire us.

Here are the swaps I made for Cairns.

This one I made the most of, it has the main image stamped in multiple colours, I used Pacific Point, Concord Crush and Rich Razzleberry inks, swiping the stamp across each pad in a different spot to ink it up.  The congratulations was inked up in versamark then in Rich Razzleberry and then embossed with clear embossing poweder mixed with the hot pink glitter from the Fine Cosmo Glitter pack.

I then decided that I wanted to do a few different ones so started to make some of the following cards in two colour ways.  Ran out of time and only ended up with 8 in total, I had to keep one aside for Monique and put one in the swap basket at the Regional so only 6 demos got one of these.

I really like the colour combination of the bottom one, very masculine.  I think I'll be using that one again.  These have been made using the I {love} love wheel and inked up with versamark then embossed with clear embossing powder mixed with dazzling diamonds.  Crystal Effects on the hearts to make them 3d and give them shine!

Cheers for now.
